Ithax Partners with Gem City Pink Pistols: A Powerful Kickoff on May 4th

We're proud to announce that Ithax is now the official training partner for the Gem City Pink Pistols, a community dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ individuals in exercising their Second Amendment rights safely and confidently.

A Partnership Rooted in Purpose

The Pink Pistols have long been a symbol of empowerment through education and community. As their training partner, Ithax brings a deep commitment to practical, inclusive, and responsible firearms training tailored to the unique needs of the LGBTQ+ community. Our shared goal is to create an environment where safety, skill, and solidarity are at the forefront.

May 4th: A Strong First Gathering

Our partnership kicked off with the Pink Pistols’ first official gathering in Gem City on May 4th — and what a day it was!

Held at the Ithax Learning Institute the event featured:

• A safety briefing and Q&A with certified Ithax instructors

• Basic handgun handling and dry-fire exercises

• Open discussion time for building community and sharing stories

For many participants, this was their first experience around firearms — and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Confidence grew, and so did connections among attendees. We saw people supporting one another, asking questions without fear of judgment, and walking away with the skills and confidence they came for.

One participant put it best:

“I’ve always wanted to learn, but didn’t know where to start or if I’d feel welcome. This was the perfect place to begin.”

Looking Ahead

This is just the beginning. Regular training sessions, educational seminars, and community-building events are being planned throughout the year. With Ithax providing professional instruction and logistical support, the Pink Pistols are set to grow stronger — and safer — together.
